That stardate may communicate some of the attitude of the captain at this point, but she just finished writing a 50,000 word novel, and has to get the rewrite done fast. The crew is trying to get their homework done, and she can't find the admiral. Christmas is coming, and the captain really dislikes shopping (especially in cold weather) unless it's online.

Why can't you find the Admiral? He does have a personal communication device you know. If you know his code you can contact him at anytime. Perhaps he is out in this freezing zone of deep space trying to take car of fowl durring this foul weather. I hope the ships power cells are charged. After a slight warming we will be heading into an even colder sector just as we head for the water resort planet of the wolf.
