For the first time ever, I went on vacation for spring break and forgot my suitcase. Yep. No clothes. Fortunately, I had packed all my paint, ink, pencils, easel, and multiple pads of paper separately. This is what I started while I was away.

Pen and ink gallery
These pen and ink drawings were done with a quill. I find that I get a beautiful variance of line when I use a quill nib.

Latest pencil portrait
I've been working on this one for awhile, and it's been tough with the weeks so full of other stuff. Finally gave it a last push on Saturday to get it out.
I'm going to start on a pen and ink project next of three cats. Post more soon.
Happy drawing. : )

The horse painting...again
Yes, I did the same painting again. (But never again.) I gave the first one away, but since I like horses, decided to try to do a version for myself. Happily done now. I found that I don't like repeating myself in paint.
